A day on my parents farm during lambing

I normally post on business orientated topics but I am also a mother and strive to get the balance right.

On Saturday I took my daughter nearly two and one year old Isobel to see the lambs on my step father’s farm.

My step father is a business man and entrepreneur that has always farmed among many other ventures.

Any triplets that can’t be adopted

on to another ewe get reared together. I remember only a few years ago when they all had to be bottle fed but they have a milk machine now.

We had a lovely day and even the weather was beautiful, which is pretty miraculous in Lincolnshire.
